 UNIT-5 SUMMERY 1.   The Student opened his window at noon and saw a red rose. ଛାତ୍ର ଦିନବେଳେ ତାଙ୍କର ଝରକା ଖୋଲିଲେ ଏବଂ ଏକ ଲାଲ ଗୁଲାବ ଦେଖିଲେ।   2.   He thought it was very beautiful and likely had a long Latin name. ସେ ଭାବିଲେ ଏହା ଖୁବ ସୁନ୍ଦର ଏବଂ ଶାୟଦ ସେଥିପାଇ ଏହାର ଲମ୍ବା ଲାଟିନ୍ ନାମ ରହିଛି।   3.   The Student plucked the rose and ran to the Professor’s house. ଛାତ୍ର ଗୁଲାବ ତୋଳି ପ୍ରଫେସରଙ୍କ ଘରକୁ ଦୌଡିଲେ।   4.   The Professor’s daughter was sitting in the doorway with her little dog. ପ୍ରଫେସରଙ୍କ କନ୍ୟା ଦ୍ଵାରପଟରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଛୋଟ କୁକୁର ସହ ବସିଥିଲେ।   5.   The Student offered the rose to her, saying she promised to dance with him if he brought a red rose. ଛାତ୍ରଟି ତାକୁ ଗୋଲାପ ଫୁଲଟି ଦେଇ କହିଲା ଯେ ଯଦି ସେ ଲାଲ ଗୋଲାପ ଆଣିଥାଏ ତେବେ ସେ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ନାଚିବ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରତିଶ୍ରୁତି ଦେଇଥିଲା।   6.   The girl frowned and said the rose would not match her dress. କନ୍ୟା ଗଭିର ଚିନ୍ତା କରି କହିଲେ ଗୁଲାବ ତାଙ୍କର ପୋଶାକ ସହ ମେଳ ଖାଇବ ନାହିଁ।   7.  ...

Ø Sadly, he has no red roses in his garden, and this makes him feel miserable—even though he is wise and knowledgeable in philosophy.     Ø The Nightingale, a bird who lives in an oak tree, hears his sorrow. She realizes that he is a “true lover,” suffering deeply because of love.     Ø The Student imagines how happy he would be if he had a red rose—his beloved would dance with him, he would hold her, and his dream of love would come true. He goes to her and closes the door, then puts his arms around her.] [ ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ହ୍ୱାଇଟ୍ ଦ୍ୱାର ପାଖରେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇ କାନ୍ଦୁଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ଅନ୍ଧାରକୁ ଚାହିଁ ରହିଛନ୍ତି। ଶ୍ରୀ ହ୍ୱାଇଟ୍ ତଳକୁ ଆସନ୍ତି। ସେ ତାଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଯାଇ ଦ୍ୱାର ବନ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି , ତା ’ ପରେ ତାଙ୍କ ହାତ ତାଙ୍କ ଚାରିପାଖରେ ରଖନ୍ତି।] Mr. White (gently).
