📚✨ Simple Present Tense କେବଳ ଦୈନନ୍ଦିନ କାମ ପାଇଁ ନୁହେଁ। ଏହାକୁ ସତ୍ୟ, ଅଭ୍ୟାସ, ନିୟମିତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ, ସମୟସାରଣୀ, ସମ୍ବାଦ ଶିରୋନାମା ଏବଂ ଅନେକ ବିଶେଷ ପରିସ୍ଥିତିରେ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରାଯାଏ। 🚀

☀️ 1. Eternal Truths — ଶାଶ୍ୱତ ସତ୍ୟ

ଯେଉଁ facts ବା ସତ୍ୟଗୁଡ଼ିକ ସବୁବେଳେ ସତ୍ୟ ରହେ, ସେଠାରେ Simple Present ବ୍ୟବହାର ହୁଏ।

☀️ The Sun rises in the East.
ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ପୂର୍ବ ଦିଗରେ ଉଦୟ ହୁଏ।
🐦 Birds fly.
ପକ୍ଷୀମାନେ ଉଡ଼ନ୍ତି।
🌍 The Earth revolves round the Sun.
ପୃଥିବୀ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟଙ୍କୁ ପରିକ୍ରମା କରେ।
🌅 The Sun sets in the West.
ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ପଶ୍ଚିମ ଦିଗରେ ଅସ୍ତମିତ ହୁଏ।

⏰ 2. Habitual Actions — ଦୈନନ୍ଦିନ ଅଭ୍ୟାସ

ଯେଉଁ କାମ ନିୟମିତ ଭାବରେ ବା ଅଭ୍ୟାସ ଅନୁସାରେ ହୁଏ, ସେଠାରେ Simple Present ବ୍ୟବହାର ହୁଏ।

🌞 I get up early in the morning.
ମୁଁ ସକାଳେ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଉଠେ।
🙏 My mother goes to temple every day.
ମୋ ମା ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ଯାଆନ୍ତି।
💼 My father goes to office at 10 A.M.
ମୋ ବାପା ସକାଳ ୧୦ଟାରେ ଅଫିସକୁ ଯାଆନ୍ତି।
⚽ He plays football daily.
ସେ ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ଫୁଟବଲ୍ ଖେଳେ।

🗣️ 3. Direct Narration — Direct Speech

ଯଦି Reporting Verb Simple Present ରେ ରହେ, ତେବେ Reported Speech ର Tense ସାଧାରଣତଃ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ।

🗣️ Ram tells that Shyam was playing cricket.
ରାମ କୁହେ ଯେ ଶ୍ୟାମ କ୍ରିକେଟ ଖେଳୁଥିଲା।
🌧️ He says that it will rain tomorrow.
ସେ କୁହେ ଯେ କାଲି ବର୍ଷା ହେବ।
💡 Remember: Reporting Verb = says / tells → tense change ହେବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ନୁହେଁ।

🧠 4. Stative Verbs — ସ୍ଥିର ଅବସ୍ଥା ସୂଚକ କ୍ରିୟା

କେତେକ Stative Verbs ସାଧାରଣତଃ Continuous Tense ବଦଳରେ Simple Present ରେ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ।

👂 I hear they are going to USA next year.
ମୁଁ ଶୁଣୁଛି ଯେ ସେମାନେ ଆଗାମୀ ବର୍ଷ USA ଯାଉଛନ୍ତି।
👀 I see her enjoying the picnic.
ମୁଁ ତାକୁ ପିକନିକ ଉପଭୋଗ କରୁଥିବା ଦେଖୁଛି।

📺 5. TV / Radio Commentaries

ଖେଳର live commentary ବା ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କରିବା ସମୟରେ ଘଟଣାଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଦ୍ରୁତ ଭାବରେ କହିବା ପାଇଁ Simple Present ବ୍ୟବହାର କରାଯାଏ।

⚽ Raju passes the ball to Saluja, Saluja passes it to Sonu, who heads it and scores!

Passes → heads → shoots → scores! ⚽🏆

🚂 6. “Here” & “There” with Exclamations

Here ଓ There ସହିତ ଘଟୁଥିବା ଘଟଣାକୁ ଦେଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ Simple Present ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ।

🏠 There she lives!
ସେ ସେଠି ରହୁଛି!
🔔 There goes the bell!
ଘଣ୍ଟି ବଜୁଛି!
🚆 Here comes the train!
ଏଠାରେ ଟ୍ରେନ୍ ଆସୁଛି!
👧 Here she comes!
ସେ ଏଠାକୁ ଆସୁଛି!

📰 7. Newspaper Headlines

ସମ୍ବାଦପତ୍ରର Headlines ରେ ଗତ ଘଟଣାକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସଂକ୍ଷିପ୍ତ ଭାବରେ Simple Present ରେ ଲେଖାଯାଏ।

🚨 Thief Escapes
ଚୋର ପଳାଇଗଲା।
🏏 Cricket Match Draws
କ୍ରିକେଟ ମ୍ୟାଚ୍ ଡ୍ର ହେଲା।
🕊️ Peace Talks Fail
ଶାନ୍ତି ଆଲୋଚନା ବିଫଳ ହେଲା।

📅 8. Planned Future Action

ଭବିଷ୍ୟତର ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରିତ ବା schedule ହୋଇଥିବା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ପାଇଁ Simple Present ବ୍ୟବହାର ହୋଇପାରେ।

🏫 Our college opens in the month of July.
ଆମ କଲେଜ୍ ଜୁଲାଇ ମାସରେ ଖୋଲେ।
🚆 He reaches here tomorrow.
ସେ କାଲି ଏଠାକୁ ପହଞ୍ଚିବ।
✈️ We leave America at 10:30 next Monday.
ଆମେ ଆସନ୍ତା ସୋମବାର ୧୦:୩୦ରେ ଆମେରିକା ଛାଡ଼ିବୁ।
👨‍💼 Mr. Sharma retires on 31st December.
ଶ୍ରୀ ଶର୍ମା ୩୧ ଡିସେମ୍ବରରେ ଅବସର ନେବେ।

🔄 9. Adverbs of Frequency

ନିୟମିତତା ବା frequency ବୁଝାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଏହି words ସହିତ Simple Present ବ୍ୟବହାର କରାଯାଏ:

always never sometimes often usually occasionally every week every year
❤️ She always speaks the truth.
ସେ ସଦା ସତ୍ୟ କହେ।
🚶 He sometimes goes for a walk.
ସେ କେବେ କେବେ ହାଟିବାକୁ ଯାଏ।
🤥 He never tells a lie.
ସେ କେବେ ମିଥ୍ୟା କୁହେନି।
⏰ Rahim often comes late.
ରହିମ ପ୍ରାୟତଃ ଦେରିରେ ଆସେ।
⛪ They go to church on Sundays.
ସେମାନେ ରବିବାରେ ଚର୍ଚ୍ଚକୁ ଯାନ୍ତି।

🔔 10. “When” & “Whenever”

When ଓ Whenever ସହିତ ସାଧାରଣତଃ Simple Present ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ, ବିଶେଷକରି repeated action ବା general situation ପାଇଁ।

🌧️ Whenever it rains, the roof leaks.
ଯେତେବେଳେ ବର୍ଷା ହୁଏ, ଛାଦରୁ ପାଣି ପଡ଼େ।
🪟 When you open the window, a light goes on.
ତୁମେ ଝରକା ଖୋଲିଲେ ଆଲୋକ ଜଳିଯାଏ।
🍎 When he comes here, he brings fruits.
ସେ ଏଠାକୁ ଆସିଲେ ଫଳ ଆଣେ।

⚡ 11. Conditional Sentences

Future meaning ଥିଲେ if, till, as soon as, when, unless, before, until, even if, in case, as ଭଳି words ପରେ Simple Present ବ୍ୟବହାର ହୁଏ।

⏳ We shall wait till she arrives.
ସେ ଆସିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆମେ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିବୁ।
☔ I shall not go there even if it rains.
ବର୍ଷା ହେଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୁଁ ସେଠାକୁ ଯିବିନି।
💼 Unless he works hard, he will not pass.
ସେ କଷ୍ଟ ନକଲେ ପାସ୍ କରିବନି।
🎁 When he comes, I shall give him a gift.
ସେ ଆସିଲେ, ମୁଁ ତାକୁ ଏକ ଉପହାର ଦେବି।
🏃 We shall move as soon as the taxi arrives.
ଟ୍ୟାକ୍ସି ଆସିଲେ ସାଙ୍ଗେସାଙ୍ଗେ ଆମେ ଚାଲିଯିବୁ।
⭐ Golden Rule: Future Main Clause → will/shall + V1
Time/Condition Clause → Simple Present

💬 12. Quotations in Simple Present

ସାଧାରଣ ସତ୍ୟ ବା quotation କୁ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବା ସମୟରେ Simple Present ବ୍ୟବହାର କରାଯାଏ।

👨‍🏫 Our teacher says, “The sun rises in the east.”
ଆମ ଶିକ୍ଷକ କହନ୍ତି, “ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ପୂର୍ବଦିଗରୁ ଉଦୟ ହୁଏ।”
📖 Shakespeare says, “Neither a borrower nor a lender be.”
ଶେକ୍ସପିୟର କହନ୍ତି, “ଧାର ନିଅନ୍ତୁ ନାହିଁ କିମ୍ବା ଧାର ଦିଅନ୍ତୁ ନାହିଁ।”
🐦 Ram says, “Birds fly and fish swim.”
ରାମ କହେ, “ପକ୍ଷୀମାନେ ଉଡ଼ନ୍ତି ଓ ମାଛମାନେ ପହଁରନ୍ତି।”
