Q1. Write a connected paragraph presenting and interpreting the information contained in the table below.

Production of Rice in Kalahandi District.

The table shows rice production in Kalahandi District from 1989 to 1993 in relation to rainfall. In 1989, rainfall was 112 mm and production reached 552 lakh tons. With 247 mm rainfall in 1990, production rose to 786 lakh tons. However, in 1991, despite heavy rainfall of 1047 mm, production fell sharply to 221 lakh tons. In 1992, only 65 mm rainfall led to 87 lakh tons. Finally, in 1993, 325 mm rainfall supported the highest production of 900 lakh tons. This indicates that excess rainfall harmed crops, while moderate rainfall ensured better yield. The data highlights the importance of balanced climatic conditions for agriculture.

The chart compares boys and girls studying four subjects. In Arts, 350 girls and 250 boys make a total of 600 students, the highest enrollment.
